The Story Behind our Company Name – Regards Japan

I decided to name my company "Regards", a phrase I use almost every time I correspond with overseas colleagues, staff, and management. This common phrase has become one of my favorite English expressions. It encompasses a variety of meanings – "with respect and warm wishes", or "with anticipation of our next meeting". At the same time, it can be a message of encouragement and camaraderie – "let’s work together towards our next goal", or "I’m counting on your help, as always!" I felt that this straightforward emotion simply had to be part of my company’s name. "Japan" expresses our commitment and passion for the Japanese market.

The Story Behind our Logo

Our logo is an alphabetic representation of Regards Japan’s initials, RJ. The jigsaw puzzle-like placement within a square frame represents coordination and harmonization of business. It also includes our sincere hope for fair deals and long-lasting win-win relationships. The black dot appears like a focused eye, incorporating the meanings of awareness and diligence. The light blue color evokes the image of boundless skies and seas. I drew the logo myself during the preparation for our company startup – in a sense it also represents my personal enthusiasm and imagination. (Konishi)
